(1) Aviation logistics is a producer service industry. Aviation logistics is an important part of the tertiary industry and logistics industry. It is not only a service industry but also a producer service industry. Producer services refer to the industries that provide services for the physical production and service production of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries. Production is divided into agricultural production, industrial production and service production. Agricultural production produces agricultural products, industrial production produces industrial products, and service production produces service products. Whether it is agricultural production, industrial production or service production, outsourcing services are required as production factors into the production process of enterprises, and these outsourcing services constitute service means of production. Some service products serve both production and consumption. In general, the service sector where more than 50% of the products are used for production is called producer services, and the service sector where more than 50% of the products are used for consumption is called consumer services. In developed countries, producer services account for more than % of the total service sector, and their development speed is also significantly faster than consumer services. Modern aviation logistics is an industry that mainly serves producers and belongs to producer service industry. 

(2) The aviation logistics industry has natural monopoly. Aviation logistics industry is a kind of natural monopoly industry in view of China's national conditions and aviation logistics development at the present stage and even in a long period. The high technology density of aviation logistics and the high risk and investment at the initial stage undoubtedly raise the entry threshold of the industry, and set barriers to entry for general investors. In other words, the capital technology density of aviation logistics directly leads to the natural monopoly of the industry. In the early stage of aviation logistics industry development, due to cost and safety problems, the market demand is low. Within a certain market capacity, the operation of one or a few companies becomes possible, forming a monopoly operation, which makes the industry show the characteristics of natural monopoly industry. Limited by natural and technological conditions, airport and airline resources are limited, which further restricts the expansion of market capacity and intensifies the natural monopoly nature of the industry. As a result, within a certain space, the limited market demand is operated most efficiently by one or a few enterprises, and the aviation logistics industry presents a monopoly.

The aviation logistics industry is a combination of the air transport industry and other related industries. Aviation logistics industry is mainly composed of the following industries. 

(1) Air freight industry. Air cargo industry is an air transport activity industry that takes aircraft as the main means of transport and cargo (including baggage and special cargo) as the transport object. The air freight industry mainly has the international air freight, the domestic air freight, the express transportation, the charter transportation and so on business. At present, with the rapid development of the world economy, the air cargo industry has also gone through the growth period, into the growth period. On the one hand, as a catalyst of world economic globalization, air transportation industry promotes and speeds up the process of world economic integration. On the other hand, the air freight industry itself also appears the trend of globalization development. The basic manifestations of the globalization of air freight industry are: management liberalization, market regionalization and transnational alliance of enterprises.  

(2) The air express industry. The air express industry is a delivery service industry that mainly USES aircraft as a tool to quickly receive, transport and deliver individually sealed, addressable parcels or other articles that do not need to be stored, deliver them to the addressee or designated place within the promised time and get a signature. According to the addressee's different regions, the air express service is divided into mainland China air express service, Hong Kong and Macao air express service, Taiwan air express service and international air express service. With the rapid development of economy, air express, which is famous for its convenience, has become an increasingly indispensable service in people's work and life. 

(3) Air freight agency industry. Air cargo agent industry is a large - scale, bulk air cargo agent, customs clearance, transport as the main industry. Air consignment industry is a variety of small, small - load air transport, air packing agent industry. The air freight forwarding industry and the air freight forwarding industry themselves do not know the source of goods or the air transport I, but in the identity of a middleman for the owners of goods, one for the air transport enterprise consignment, so as to collect fees and commissions. Some air consignment owners specialize in the business of collecting sporadic air cargo from shippers and concentrating it into charter cargo transport.  (4) Aviation and postal services. Air mail service is a service industry that mainly USES aircraft as a tool and mainly deals with receiving, transporting, delivering parcels and letters by air. It plays an important role in promoting national economic and social development and guaranteeing citizens' right of communication. At present, the traditional postal service industry actively participates in the air express business, and is transforming to the modern air mail industry with the integration of information flow, capital flow and logistics.
